Exciseman's 80/- 4.6%
A traditional cask ale, with a dark malty brew,
full of the rich flavours typical of classic
Scottish 80/- ales. Full drinking with a good hop
aftertaste.
Fossil Fuel 4.1%
Fossil Fuel is as a traditional best bitter. We
use the finest Maris Otter Pale Ale and a blend
of crystal malts to give an attractive, light
amber colour with a full malt richness.
Hidden Fantasy
Straw-coloured summer beer with an underlying
fruity sweetness, but a strong dry finish.
Frog Island Best Bitter 3.8%
A pale brown, easy drinking beer. English Marris
Otter pale malt, crystal malt and wheat malt
contributes to a malty aroma with a hint of
caramel. The initial roasted malt flavour is
balanced by the bitterness and hop character of
English Target and Fuggles hops, which linger
into the aftertaste.
Old Knucker 5.5%
A very dark old ale. Malt dominates the initial
taste, but leads on to a bitter-sweet coffee
finish.
Nelson IPA 4.8%
Traditional IPA, complex in taste leaving a dry
hoppy finish on the palate
Suffolk County 4.0%
A quality best bitter with great hop and malt
aromas. together with a punching bitterness. Was
originally brewed as "Nethergate Bitter", the
grist now having been restored to the original
1986 recipe.
Pride of Scotgate 4.3%
A beer of pale amber colour, hopped predominantly
with 'Goldings'.
Severn Bore 4.2%
Mid-brown coloured, smooth malty ale with good
hop content. Finished with the classic Wickwar
finish.
Crop Circle 4.2%
A very clean, flaxen-coloured beer with wonderful
thirst-quenching properties. The subtle blend of
aroma and bittering hops give crispness on the
tongue which is delicately fruity, giving way to
some dryness. The inclusion of flaked maize in
the grist subtly hints at crisp corn flavours
Raunchy Reverend 4.1%
Citrus and fruity First Gold hops dominate this
light amber coloured ale; however, the use of a
little Vienna malt does allow the malt character
to show through.
Brains Bitter 3.7%
The famous ‘pint of Brains’ is rich
amber coloured, well balanced and refreshing.
Goldings and Fuggles hops from The Welsh Marches
create an appetising crisp aroma to complement
the subtle flavour of fine pale malt.
Daleside Blonde 3.9%
A refreshing, golden blonde beer. Hoppy with a
hint of citrus and sherbet. A distinctive nose
combined with delicate taste and subtle
aftertaste. A delightfully different Yorkshire
brew.
Night Watchman 3.8%
A very quaffable light coloured but full
Flavoured beer. A pronounced bitterness
compliments subtle malty flavours to give a sharp
refreshing character to this beer
Hooky Bitter 3.6%
A subtly balanced, golden bitter, hoppy to the
nose, malty on the palate - the classic session
beer, eminently drinkable.
Adnams Regatta 4.3%

Wold Top Bitter 3.7%
This is our first and Flagship Bitter, an easy
drinking session beer. with good head retention
and medium to light colour. Maris Otter and a
small amount of Crystal malt form the basis of
the brew together with Northdown Hops for
bittering and aroma.
Parkers Porter 5.0%
Named after Parker's Piece in Cambridge, once
home to Cricketing Legend Sir Jack Hobbs
(1882-1963). A dark rich ruby coloured fruity
flavoured bitter with a tangy aftertaste.
Falling Stone 4.2%
A Full bodied and well rounded beer which is
achieved by adding a small amount of Chocolate
Malt to the Mash which is based around Maris
Otter Malt. Progress hops are used to for Aroma.
Timothy Taylor's Landlord 4.3%
A Classic Strong Pale Ale, Landlord has won more
